Zusammenfassung

Historic New England seeks functions associates responsible for supervising event and function rentals at three properties in the Metro Boston area. The Functions Associate opens the property, welcomes and assists vendors, and greets and directs guests, while monitoring events to ensure vendors comply with site requirements.

This is a year-round, part-time, hourly position with weekend and evening work frequently required.

Qualifikationen

• Requires an associate’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong presentation and selling to prospective clients experience.
• Excellent customer service, tact, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure; strong verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Open properties and greet guests; meet and assist vendors.
• Monitor events and ensure vendors follow site requirements.
• Coordinate pre-function setup, guest arrival, and vendor departure.
• Assist with directing guests and managing event flow.
