Job summary

TREK Development Group is seeking a Part-Time Porter for Thomas Village, a 66-unit community in the Pittsburgh area. The Porter handles groundskeeping, housekeeping and basic maintenance, delivering high-quality resident service and maintaining professional appearances.

Qualifications include 1-3 years of housekeeping, groundskeeping or general maintenance experience and a hands-on approach to facilities upkeep.

Qualifications

1-3 years housekeeping, groundskeeping or general maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to use hand tools and knowledge of power tools and maintenance operations.
Effective communication at all levels and commitment to professional standards.
Ability to climb ladders and carry equipment as needed.
Carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other trade skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service through groundskeeping, housekeeping, and communication.
Maintain building accessibility and appearance, perform debris removal, and assist with landscaping.
Perform janitorial duties in common areas including amenities, hallways, stairwells and elevators.
Complete a wide variety of maintenance and repairs and keep logs of activities.
Assist onsite maintenance and management with various maintenance requests.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment and report safety concerns.
Review monthly operating reports and general ledger to ensure bills are paid and coded.
Any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
