Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or professional cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, guests, and team members.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative onsite team.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to recognize property concerns and communicate them appropriately to the Service Manager.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of community common areas, hallways, amenity spaces, building entrances, and outdoor grounds.
• Conduct regular trash and debris pickup throughout the property to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Clean and maintain amenity spaces, including fitness centers, resident lounges, mailrooms, pool decks, and other shared areas.
• Support the cleaning and preparation of vacant apartment homes during make-ready and turnover periods.
• Maintain strong curb appeal throughout building entrances, parking areas, signage, walkways, and community grounds.
• Keep trash and recycling areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Identify and report property damage, maintenance concerns, safety issues, or other needs to the Service Manager.
• Assist the Service Manager and maintenance team with light maintenance tasks as directed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory and communicate when additional materials are needed.
• Provide friendly, professional, and helpful service when interacting with residents, prospective residents, guests, and team members.
• Support the onsite team as needed to ensure the community consistently meets Garrett Residential standards.
