Job summary

BioLife is offering truly part-time roles in Waterloo, IA with 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week. The role focuses on donor screening, phlebotomy support, and ensuring donor safety.

Afternoon/evening and Saturday availability are required, with daily pay options for hourly staff. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to high-quality plasma collection while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Phlebotomy support and donor screening responsibilities as part of plasma center operations.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements using approved procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
