BioLife is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support at the Waterloo, IA center. You will engage donors, perform health screenings, and support plasma center operations with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Responsibilities include answering phones, recording vital signs, using the Donor Information System, and coordinating donor compensation while supporting various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays work requirement.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; hearing equipment from a distance.
• Most tasks involve glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Answer phones and greet donors; ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and returning donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
