Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support in Waterloo, IA. You will interact with donors, perform vital signs, and manage donor charts. Shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with weekend and holiday availability emphasized.

Starting hourly wage is $17.00, with compensation terms aligned to state/local minimums. A high school diploma and ability to stand for shifts are required; prior customer-facing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes per approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
