Job summary

BioLife in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking part-time team members to screen plasma donors and perform phlebotomy to support center operations. Shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, designed to fit a flexible life.

You will greet donors, ensure safety, document vitals, and use the Donor Information System. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required, with potential for other shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift and perform basic donor tasks.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Customer-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify improvement opportunities and help implement center process changes.
• Work various shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
