Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist in Waterloo, IA. Shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with daily pay available. You will greet donors, screen and record vitals, and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

We require a high school diploma, ability to stand/walk, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer or patient-facing experience is helpful and glove use is common due to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort with standing, walking during shifts.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen donors while ensuring safety.
• Record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records in the Donor Information System.
• Coordinate donor compensation and center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
