Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Cedar Falls, IA is hiring for a part-time Donor Screener/Phlebotomist. Most shifts are 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, with availability confirmed in the interview process. Reliability during scheduled hours is essential to support plasma center operations.

You will greet donors, perform phlebotomy, record vital signs, use the Donor Information System, and coordinate donor compensation. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
