Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Bismarck, ND is hiring for a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support role. You will conduct donor screening, perform phlebotomy, record vital signs, and maintain donor charts while ensuring safety and quality in operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs including finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System and maintain donor charts/records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and center processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Support donors across varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
