Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. You will interact with donors daily, perform vital signs, and help maintain donor records while ensuring safety and quality of center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays will be worked.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32–50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks involve glove wear due to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, focus on donors, while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
