Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Findlay, OH is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You’ll interact with donors daily, perform screenings, and assist with phlebotomy as needed, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager.

This role emphasizes reliability and customer service in a fast-paced setting. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work required.
• Able to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and staff safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
