BioLife Plasma Donation Centers in Dubuque, IA, is hiring for a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support role. You will interact with donors daily, perform screenings, and ensure safety and quality in center operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for shifts, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Training in donor information systems and documentation is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and walk as needed.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 32–50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and ability to hear equipment in the distance.
• Glove wear is common due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain accurate donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and support center operations for process improvements.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
