Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Dubuque, IA is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy duties to support center operations. You will contribute to donor safety, collect plasma, and maintain accurate donor records while working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vitals and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Support donors by working a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
