Job summary

BioLife in Roanoke, VA is hiring a truly part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. Shifts run about 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week, with weekends and holidays required. The position offers paid training to help you succeed and fit your life.

You will greet donors, screen new and returning donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor charts using our Donor Information System. You’ll help maintain center operations with a focus on safety, service quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift; flexible scheduling incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.
• One or more years in customer or patient-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and maintain donor charts.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements per approved procedures.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
