Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a truly part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomist to join our team. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, with training provided to start strong.

You will greet donors, screen new and returning donors, record vital signs, and use the Donor Information System to maintain charts and donor compensation records. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts; maintain records and compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
