Job summary

BioLife is hiring for a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support role. You will interact with donors, perform screens, and assist with center operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful, and you will use the Donor Information System to manage records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs on occasion.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; gloves required for most tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the information system.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and follow approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
