Takeda is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener at BioLife within our Corpus Christi location. You will perform phlebotomy and donor screening to support plasma center operations while engaging with donors with a customer-service focus.

This role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a paid training program to start. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and flexible scheduling to fit a busy life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.
• Lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift to 5 lbs, occasionally 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks involve glove use due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts with accurate records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement center procedures.
• Support donors with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
