Job summary

Takeda is seeking a part-time Plasma Center Screener/Phlebotomist at BioLife in Irving, TX. Shifts typically 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with paid training and flexible scheduling.

You will greet donors, screen and collect vital signs, record data in the Donor Information System, and support center operations while upholding safety and customer service standards. The role requires occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior customer-facing experience is helpful, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
