Job summary

BioLife Plasma is seeking a part-time donor screener to support plasma center operations in Corpus Christi. You will greet donors, perform screening, and assist phlebotomy while ensuring safety and accurate record-keeping.

The role involves shifts 4–6 hours daily, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays. Training is paid and interactive to help you start strong in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Able to bend, lean, stoop, crouch, reach.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasionally up to 32 lbs; rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and distance hearing.
• Glove use is required for safety and exposure control.
• 1+ year of customer/patient facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors with safety in mind.
• Screen donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and records; coordinate compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center-process improvements and implement changes.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
