Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener in Burleson, TX to support plasma center operations. You will perform phlebotomy and donor screening, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, while ensuring donor safety and accuracy of records.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays. Training is provided and benefits are included in the role at BioLife.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• 1+ year customer/patient facing experience is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and maintain donor charts.
• Coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate process changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
