Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to join our plasma donation center in North Richland Hills, TX. You will greet donors, conduct pre-donation screening, collect blood components, record vital signs, and ensure donor safety during each shift.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with 4–6 hour daily shifts. Training is provided and support from the Plasma Center Manager is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fine motor coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; glove wear required.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors with a focus on safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and compensation records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
