Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and manage equipment setup and maintenance. This role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and compliance with safety procedures.

Shifts are 4–6 hours daily, 3+ days per week, with paid training and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into the DIS.
