Job summary

BioLife is offering truly part-time roles, with 4 to 6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, designed to fit your life. You will be a plasma donor screener and support phlebotomy to help plasma center operations while reporting to the Center Manager.

You’ll answer phones, screen donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor compensation, with opportunities for process improvements and a training program. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
