Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in the United States seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to greet donors, perform venipuncture, and operate plasmapheresis equipment. The role includes monitoring donors, collecting vital data, and ensuring smooth center operations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and the ability to stand for long periods, with evening/weekend availability and the potential for ongoing training and process improvement involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand/walk for the shift and handle light to moderate lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the information system.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using Debit Card system.
• Support center management with process improvements (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen).
