Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to support donor care and plasma collection. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, and operate plasmapheresis equipment with strict adherence to safety protocols.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and customer service during 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 32 lb (occasionally 50 lb), and working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work required.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs, up to 32 lbs; rarely 50 lbs.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering and exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis machine programming.
• Monitor donors and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and dispose of waste.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors.
• Support center management in process improvements per procedures.
