Job summary

BioLife, part of Takeda, is hiring for a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, with a paid training program to start.

You will welcome donors, perform initial screening, take vital signs, and record donor information. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required as part of a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand/walk during shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Able to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Able to lift 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment at distance.
• 90% of tasks require glove use due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, prioritizing donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
