Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Washington state is seeking part-time staff to screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and support plasma center operations. Expect shifts 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work expected.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift to 5 lbs., occasional up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear is common due to potential bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
