Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor during donation, and help with machine setup and troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes customer service and precise data entry into the donor information system. The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year customer/patient-facing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering and exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements per approved procedures.
