Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Tukwila, WA is hiring for a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support role. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Can lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Can lift to 5 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role (helpful).

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement using procedures.
• Support donors with varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
