Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Tukwila, WA is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support role. Most shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, including weekends and holidays.

You will answer phones, screen donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor compensation, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. A high school diploma and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs.
• Glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on their safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
