BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to ensure safe donor screening and quality plasma collection. You will determine eligibility, manage adverse events, and review lab results under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Role requires nursing licensure (RN/NP/PA) in the applicable state, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years in a clinical setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing education
• Currently licensed in the state of responsibility: RN, NP or PA
• Current CPR and AED certification
• FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility and proper informed consent handling.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage adverse events per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results to donors.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and occupational health guidance.
• Assist with EHS compliance and pandemic-related investigations when authorized.
