Job summary

Care Partners Home Health, part of LHC Group and a member of the Optum family, seeks a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy across Wetzel, Tyler and Marshall counties under a supervising PT. You’ll deliver treatments, guide exercises, and educate patients and families on care plans.

Applicants must be licensed PTA and CPR-certified (or able to obtain within 90 days). This role offers 24 hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package within a nationwide care

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care under supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL and transfer.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to PT and care team.
• Educate patient and family on therapy within PTA scope.
• Function respectfully in diverse home environments.
