Job summary

Care Partners Home Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver therapy and education under a supervising PT in patients' homes across Wetzel, Tyler, and Marshall counties.

You will follow the plan of care, guide patients through exercises, observe responses, and coordinate with the care team. We offer a supportive environment with meaningful connections and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy.
• Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care under supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise and gait training.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the team.
• Educate patient, family, and others in therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings with respect to all individuals.
