Caretenders Home Health, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients under the supervising PT.

This role emphasizes adherence to state laws for home health PT, performing only qualified procedures, and coordinating care with the health team. A valid PT assistant license and access to reliable transportation are required, with weekend availability.

Formación

• Licensed to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws governing home care PT; follow plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re‑education, gait and ADL.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to supervising PT and coordinate care with the health care team.
