Job summary

Care Partners Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, seeks a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy under supervision. You will help patients with exercise, gait, and daily activities, reporting progress to the supervising PT and coordinating with the healthcare team.

The position requires state PTA licensure, CPR, and a valid driver''s license, with the ability to handle diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and work under supervising PT, implementing approved plans of care.
• Instruct exercises, gait training, ADLs, transfers, and safety for patients.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapeutic activities within PTA scope.
• Maintain ability to function in home settings regardless of client demographics.
