Qualifications

• Knowledge of human Anatomy and Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of equipment used in therapy work.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patient conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Understanding of strengthening techniques and exercises.
• Awareness of patient safety, restraints and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing exercises under supervision of PT/OT.
• Prepare heat/cold packs, assist with pool activities, guide patients to equipment.
• Ensure therapy equipment operation and maintenance; troubleshoot issues.
