Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lifts up to 5 lbs. with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Exposed to bloodborne pathogens requiring gloves in most tasks (risk level 1).

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and returning donors and record vital signs and fingerstick results.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the information system.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
