Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a dependable part-time donor screener/phlebotomist in a Thornton, CO plasma center. You will interact with donors, screen them, take vital signs, and document measurements using our information system to ensure accurate donor records and compensation.

The position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service. Training is paid, and schedules are designed to fit a part-time lifestyle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors with a focus on safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and coordinate donor charts and compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements using approved procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
