Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist - Part Time in Somerset, Kentucky. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimen processing, and maintain accurate patient information with a focus on excellent service in a client office setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification. Previous outpatient lab experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and bonus plans based on performance.

• Reliable customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
