Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Minnesota seeks a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy support to assist plasma center operations. You will ensure donor safety, perform phlebotomy, and maintain accurate donor records.

You will work varied shifts including weekends and holidays to support donor flow, with strong emphasis on customer service and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work requirement.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors, record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
