BioLife Plasma Services in Minnesota is seeking part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and contribute to high-quality customer service while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days a week, with evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reports to the Plasma Center Manager; starting wage is $17.00 per hour in MN. BioLife emphasizes reliability and flexibility in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on our donors while ensuring safety of donors and team.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Be there for donors, including working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
