Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener who will perform phlebotomy to support center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and participate in a paid, interactive training program to start your journey in a mission-driven environment.

Daily responsibilities include answering phones, greeting donors, and ensuring donor safety; screening donors, recording vital signs, and managing donor charts in our Donor Information System;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vitals and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
