Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener with phlebotomy duties. You will greet donors, screen them, and perform vitals while maintaining donor safety and accurate records.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and includes training and use of the Donor Information System. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional 32 lbs; rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role (helpful).

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate center process improvements.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
