Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations within our retail locations. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, following a structured training roadmap and SOPs to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient-centric service.

You will gain hands-on experience with immunizations, counseling, and day-to-day pharmacy operations while developing skills for future pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure (in process)
