Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, contributing to pharmacy operations, patient safety, and service quality.

You’ll complete a structured training roadmap with KLEs, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient experience.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify as allowed by state regulations.
• Participate in inventory activities and store operations as directed.
