Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach in Perris, CA to engage clients, facilitate recovery-focused conversations, and support service planning within a new startup program. The role offers AM/PM/NOC shifts, with a starting pay of $23.00–$23.70 per hour and geographic pay differentials.

Requires HS diploma, Peer Certification and CalMHSA credentials, plus driving for client transport. Candidate experience with behavioral health and willingness to use personal or company vehicles are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification prior to hire and maintained.
• One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Two years full-time or part-time equivalent in a mental health program or a related bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to support recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to promote Telecare's RCCS recovery culture.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation to support least restrictive care.
