Job summary

Telecare Corporation invites applications for a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage members in recovery conversations, promote Telecare's Recovery Culture, and provide supportive consultation to care teams. Shifts are On-Call; starting wage is $23.00 per hour with geographic differentials and experience-based adjustments.

This role supports a 24/7 RTC/MHRC in Riverside, CA. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, California peer certification, and willingness to drive clients in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.
• California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of hire and maintained.
• One year or part‑time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Two years' full‑time experience (or part‑time equivalent) in a mental health program.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to use company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members reach recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture per RCCS.
• Respond to emergencies with de-escalation to support a least restrictive environment.
