Job summary

LaFrance is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate and on-time payroll processing for our Concordville, PA location. You will work in a hybrid setup, handling payroll using ADP Workforce Now and maintaining sensitive employee records.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience (or related degree), strong knowledge of payroll taxes, and proficiency with Excel. You will report to the Vice President, Finance & Operations and contribute to payroll compliance and process

Qualifications

• Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, and/or 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, SUI, FMLA, garnishments, and wage and hour compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to gain payroll efficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Human Resources to process accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
• Maintain employee payroll records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Administer payroll-related requirements including SUI, FMLA, garnishments, and other statutory programs.
• Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, and payroll adjustments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and support payroll tax filings and year-end processing.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
