CCRES is hiring a Payroll Specialist to join the Business Office in Exton, PA. The role focuses on precise payroll processing, timely submissions, and continuous process improvement, all while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related area preferred.
• 3 years payroll experience for a Bachelor's, 4–5 for Associate, 5–7 for a High School Diploma equivalent.
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll and related activities with precision.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll.
• Adhere to guidance while proposing enhancements to payroll processes.
• Revise working instructions and payroll SOPs as needed.
• Make informed payroll decisions independently and seek input as needed.
• Stay updated on IRS, DHS, and other regulatory guidelines and laws.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Ensure HIPAA and FERPA compliance.
• Assist business office with data entry, reporting, compliance, and bookkeeping.
